Tools 'n' Tones
- Making your own Relationship with them -

I wanted to share with you some spiritual tools and ways I have used them to help my own ascension. You may find something among these that will help you focus your own inner wisdom.

Divination tools are handy for people who are intuitive (as everybody is to some degree) but not naturally clairvoyant, as it gives your higher self and guides something to use as an intermediary between it and your conscious mind. While you may start using tools in a 'mental' way, they can also help to develop and awaken your intuitive abilities.

GROUNDING
The fist and most important thing to do is to ground your energy field to the earth before seeking information or guidance. This anchors you to the Earth Mother and other ascending kingdoms for guidance that will help your ascension, rather than to the soup of thoughtforms and entities that surround humanity. If you are not familiar with how to ground your field, there is information in a previous article.

RITUAL
Most people who meditate regularly have developed little rituals. Having a place to meditate also helps your higher self and guidance to tune in and know that when you go to that place you're ready to commune and communicate.

A meditation altar is a nice place to keep everything that you're working with. Many years ago I had an old wardrobe with a little altar set up in the bottom. I could just open the doors and sit on a cushion and all my stuff was there ready. It meant I could also keep it private when I'd finished.

I now have a nice seat set up near a creek among the birds and animals. I have some outdoor items set up there and a bag of cards, crystals, notepad etc. that I take with me in case I feel guided to use any of the tools. Outdoors in nature is always preferable to working indoors, but the main thing is that you find a place where you can be left in peace to work.

You may like to burn some sage or incense, light some candles, bring in some crystals - go with whatever makes you comfortable and don't stress to much about using the 'right' tool or colour according to what others say, but use your own intuition when adding or subtracing items to your ritual or altar.

If you are working on ascension I strongly urge you to release religious or guru pictures, symbols and prayers, as these are locked into an older way of worship that no longer applies in the new consensus. Instead, try working with nature based symbols - animals, plants, minerals, crystals, the elements, the earth and sun etc. The nature kingdoms are also ascending and if you honour them they will help support and guide you.

DIARY
Another thing I've found really useful is to keep a notebook and pen handy to jot down all the things you might want to refer to or ponder later. You will find a huge amount of ascension information available online - too much to take in - but when you read something you want to explore further, write it down. When you see some 'intents' or affirmations you want to work with, write them down. When you have dreams and visions, do a reading or hear a message, write it down. If you have questions you need answers for, write it down. The act of hand writing something helps to crystalise it in your mind as well as engaging your higher self.

Dreams, visions and message are quickly forgotten in our busy lives, so by writing them down, you can come back to them later and explore their messages and meanings when you have more time. When you do a reading for yourself, you can write down your interpretation at the time and refer to it later to see how accurate you were, thus helping to hone your intuitive and reading skills. Your diary can help you see how far you've progressed, especially when you're having a bad ascension day.

PENDULUM
I have used a pendulum for many years and find it's an excellent tool for beginners to use as most people can get it working fairly quickly. The pendulum is guided by your Body Spirit, or body level knowing, so can answer questions concerning your body, and also be an intermediary to your higher self and to other kingdoms you are working with. I have previously written an article on Using a Pendulum.

The same body energy can also work muscle testing or using the whole body as a pendulum by sitting or standing up straight and allowing the body to sway in different directions for yes and no. Once you are familiar with this sensation, the external movement can be lessened until you just 'feel' yes or no when talking to your guidance, rather than moving the physical body.

TAROT
Tarot can be a useful tool for keeping track of your ascension. The Major Arcana represents a spiritual journey and the Minor Arcana represents the day to day hopes, fears and dramas that must be worked through. Choose a deck that you feel comfortable with. Most decks come with information about what each card represents, but just use these as a starting point. You will notice that different decks put different interpretations and pictures on the cards according to the relationship the author has formed with them. You too, must form your own relationship with them to have the benefit of the insight that goes much deeper than the pictures.

Many years ago before the world was awash with tarot cards there were only a few decks available which came with a negligible amount of information. Then came the Mythic Tarot which not only had a fully illustrated deck and comprehensive book, but also a workbook. I found that workbook enormously helpful to not only forming a relationship with the cards, but also releasing a lot of internal turmoil that helped kick start my ascension long before I knew what ascension was.

The Mythic Tarot is based upon the Greek Gods and legends, which also feature in ascension information as the Plieadian Anu family. Humanity has a lot of karma with this family and each ascending will find many lessons to be learned from the karma released with this family. I think my use of these cards helped me to work through a lot of this karma, until I eventually out-grew them and no longer feel the affinity with them that I did, although I can highly recommend them to others who are still working through this stage of ascension.

I have since been using the Arthurian Tarot, which is more Celtic-based, has a closer affinity to nature, which is what I'm working with now. I also use these in combination with other home-made cards, Language of Light cards and crystals for my own readings. So if you feel guided to use the tarot, have a look at the various cards and see what appeals to you, and don't worry about out-growing your tools and changing the way you work with your guidance as you evolve.

Concentrate on each card, the images and the feelings they invoke and see how each can apply to the ascension journey. Form a relationship with each card that has a meaning between you and your higher self. You will find cards that represent the masculine and feminine, balance, sovereignty, attachments, ancestors, knowledge, struggle and much more. You can then use these to check your field and stage of ascension as you draw them into a layout.

OTHER CARDS
I often make up sets of cards for my own use out of other ascension information, mostly information that Mila from SSOA channels. I've drawn up cards representing the Creepy Crawlers, Nature Kingdoms, Archetypes, Ascension Temples and Language of One with keywords and information on them for quick reference. This makes a more portable way to keep information at my fingertips or to draw them out when doing readings or for some quick guidance. You can get some perforated business card paper and print or hand-draw cards that mean something to you. You'll also find some professionally printed Language of Light and Nature Cards on the SSOA site.

I'd also like to recommend the Crystal Ally Cards by Naisha Ahsian. These can be used not just for divination, but as a guide for healing and as an insight into the mineral kingdom. All of the concepts described by the cards are very much to do with spiritual growth, so these are ideal for anyone interested in ascension and crystals in particular.

CRYSTALS
Another way you can make your own divination set is by using crystals. I have a set that started out with about 7 crystals and is now up to about 65. Each represents something to check for in my field and I either go through them one at a time checking, or draw out 7 to work on as part of another reading. The advantage of crystals is you can add them as required, as you work on each stage of ascension.

LANGUAGE OF LIGHT
The Language of Light tones build your lightbody as you ascend. I have always been drawn to the tones but had never really been able to form a relationship with them until recently. They were originally channeled and drawn by Mila from SSOA. Mila's partner Oa wrote some comprehensive descriptions to go with each glyph and it was there that I got stuck. No matter how many times I read them I just couldn't get my head around them. Then I sat down and worked with my own guidance and asked 'Why do I need this tone in my field? What does it do for my ascension?' and I quickly received an easy to understand explanation for each glyph via my own guidance. I can now use these explanations to do readings with the Language of Light cards, and it also helps me to feel and understand their dance better.

These tones are very important to ascension, so I urge you to form your own relationship with them. On the SSOA site you can either purchase or download some cards to work with. You can read Oa's descriptions and read about the new Ascending Astrology, and the dual, tri and quad tones.

Through the filter of your own truth you can work with each tone and ask your own guidance what each tone means to you and your ascension. This way the tones will feel much more personal to you, and as a relationship is formed you will start to feel them in your field. Try drawing one card at a time and drawing the energy of the tone into each chakra, starting with your grounding and working your way up. Try to see your field with your inner eye and see if there are any areas of blockage or darkness that need clearing and draw one or more tones into the blocked areas to move the energy. Try feeling the energetic differences between the different tones. Feel what it's like when they are all in balance so you know when they are not.

You can also use your pendulum to go through the list of tones, or download the balance charts on the SSOA site, and ask firstly which tones you have downloaded to date, and then if they are in balance. Any found missing or out of balance can be intended back

All of the above tools and tones will help you to develop your intuition and change the way you receive your guidance from external and theoretical to an internal knowing. They will help you to develop the ability to commune and communicate with your own higher self and guidance, your ancestors, and with the other ascending kingdoms.
