The Beauty of Imperfection

But alas, these are fantasy realities which can never be achieved on this dimension. Even the people in the ads and images do not have the lives they portray. Planet Earth is a place of learning and karma balancing. It is also a reality that operates on 'polarity' so even if you achieve your dreams in one area of your life, other areas will be lacking.
While polarity can now be balanced out through ascension, humanity is a long way from 'perfection'. We, and all the other nature kingdoms, and the Earth herself have been traumatised, scarred and shattered for a long time and we are all in need of healing.
Healing, like all spiritual growth, begins within. It starts by looking within and taking charge and responsibility for your own life and happiness, without expecting something outside of yourself to do it for you. You are who you are... and who you are today is your starting point - with all your perceived flaws and imperfections.
Perfection is in the eye of the beholder. What is perfect to one person may be flawed to another. But who says perfect is 'right' and imperfect is 'wrong' anyway? Things just 'are' - and you can find help and lessons all around you. Look at the nature kingdoms for example. Clover has three leaves. Occasionally a mutant comes along with four leaves. Is this imperfect?
We work a lot with the Mineral Kingdom, so I'd like to show you some of my 'imperfect' crystals.
Imagine a perfect crystal. It would be so clear it would be like glass. It would have no cracks, marks or planes inside... how boring! It is the imperfections that produce the rainbows and angels inside the crystals - things of great beauty.
Many of my favourite crystals were overlooked in the wholesale warehouses because they didn't look as nice as the others but there is beauty in them and much to learn.

The first crystal on the left is what is known as 'self healed'. At some point it has been broken off from it's base, but as a living thing it has started to re-grow from the bottom. The crystal in the middle at the top is a natural double terminator. At some stage in its' life it has broken in half then joined itself back together - like a broken bone rejoining. Both these crystals have within their cellular structure information on self-healing. If you were to work with these crystals, you could ask the crystal and the Mineral Kingdom to impart the patterns to your own etheric structure to aid in your own healing.
The bottom picture is of a naturally curved crystal. It has also split itself around the protruding crystal at the bottom. At some stage in its' growth it encountered obstacles, uneven pressures and stresses but continued to grow nevertheless. The information it has gathered in its' cellular structure can be called upon when you are facing obstacles in your own life and need to stay strong.
The top right picture is of a rough amethyst point that contained three small clusters of natural citrine. These 'blooms' have continued to grow in the presence of the other crystals it lives with despite the host crystal no longer being joined to the cave it came from. From working with the crytstal I found that the triple group of clusters signifies consciousness and the fact they are growing reflects the growth in consciousness currently underway on Earth.
This Lemurian Seed Crystal is a new addition and one of my favourites. It was left in the bottom of the box at the warehouse as it looked 'imperfect' on first glance - the better looking crystals were sold first. I was guided to buy it on one of my buying trips to the big city, so I bought it and popped it in my bag to check out later.
Since moving to the country, the occasional trips to the city are a big drag on my field. I allow Earth to move stuck city energy through my field so I get a massive amount of 'stuff' passing through and need to hold my personal boundaries while this is going on, both against this passing energy and against energy drain from the people I come into contact with.
The way to hold your personal boundaries is through the connection to Earth and the generation of the sexual energy flow from the lower chakras which pushes out from your field that which is not needed.
Later that evening I took out the Lemurian and examined more closely. The most obvious thing was a large self-healed indentation running almost the whole length of the side. Looking at the bottom there were multiple smaller crystals sticking out which contained another mineral (probably iron) turning these crystals into little Golden Healers.
The next thing I noticed was a large keyhole above the Golden Healers and yet another keyhole on the back. Looking at the crystal font on, the immediate thought came that it was a 'hermaphrodite', exhibiting male and female parts on the one body. As such it generated the sexual energy that was necessary for 'holding space'.
Then I knew why it wanted to come with me. It was assisting me to hold my boundaries during the trip away from the country. I also found it had a very grounding, magnetic energy which is helpful when there is excess electrical energy around. So the reject crystal is actually very special and I'm glad it waited for me!
All of this goes to show you how much I could have missed out on if I had made a judgement based on looks and rejected these crystals.
How can you make contact with your higher self? The simplest way is to start by using a pendulum. I have an article here to instruct you which includes a grounding exercise. Remember, imperfect flowers make great potpurri, and good-hearted people come in all shapes, colours and socio-economic backgrounds. What information, healing or love could you be missing out on if judgements are made on fantasy criteria instead of looking within, and following your heart and higher self in your life choices?
